Seat Cushions May Lift and Fall - Potential Road Hazard While Trailering

Re: Seat Cushions May Lift and Fall - Potential Road Hazard While Trailering

Dear Sea-Doo Switch Owner,

This notice is sent to you in accordance with applicable laws. BRP is conducting a safety recall.

Our records show that you own a potentially affected watercraft.

Which models are involved?

Sea-Doo Switch Sport, Cruise, Cruise Limited and Fish

What is the potential problem?

The seat cushions may lift unintentionally and fall from the watercraft while trailering. A falling cushion could create a road hazard or strike another vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash and causing serious injuries or even death.

What will BRP do?

● BRP will perform this recall at no charge to you (parts and labor).

● The solution is NOT yet available.

● Information about the solution will be announced before the end of September 2025.

● BRP will send you a second letter when the solution will be available at your BRP dealer.

What should you do?

●       ON WATER: You can continue to use your watercraft as before.

●       ON THE ROAD - TRAILERING:

○       Sport and Cruise: Lower the bimini completely as shown below.

○       Cruise Limited: Lower the bimini completely as shown below AND place the seats in the following configuration to avoid bimini interference with the seats:

1. Remove the front middle lateral seats from their location. Then move the long corner seats to the lateral seats previous location.

2. Rotate the LH middle lateral seat clockwise and the RH middle lateral seat counterclockwise a quarter turn. Then install the middle lateral seats in their new location facing rearward. With this trailering configuration, you will be able to lower your bimini completely.

○       Fish: Remove all seat cushions and unsecured cargo in the seat bases and store them in your vehicle. The stern flip back seat cushions can stay there if the back is flipped down. For this model, lowering your bimini completely will NOT avoid the situation.

If you leased this vehicle:

●       Send a copy of this letter to the lessee within ten working days after the day you received this letter.

Do the same with any future letters about this safety recall.
